Thompson scores with a nice strike.
Thompson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bunga's head backwards.

Rick Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bunga shoots and misses
and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ralph Bunga has been cut.

Thompson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Bunga! Thompson dives in looking to finish! Bunga is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
