Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Mcgrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gene bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gene misses with a head kick.
Levi Gene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgrath swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gene shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gene was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gene swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mcgrath is now in Gene's guard. A big mistake from Gene there, giving up the dominant position!

Mcgrath tries to free his leg and advance position but Gene is retaining full guard.
Mcgrath has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gene is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mcgrath knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gene on the ground.

Gene is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mcgrath to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mcgrath shrugs it off.

Mcgrath on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mcgrath tries to get out of the position.

Gene is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mcgrath can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

I would just about give that final round to Levi Gene.
