Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amos Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Finnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finnigan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Finnigan's wake. Tim Finnigan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnigan looks to clinch

and Black counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Finnigan is bucking up trying to escape but Black cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That has opened up Tim Finnigan's cut even more.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Finnigan hang on?
Black lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Black closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Finnigan did well to prevent Black getting side control.

Black looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Finnigan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tim Finnigan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
