Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chucky Kuklinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nathan Mir has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Mir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chucky Kuklinski!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir looks to land a combination but Kuklinski avoids it well.
Kuklinski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mir.
Mir throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mir throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Kuklinski counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kuklinski is pushing down on Mir's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mir is fighting to maintain full guard but Kuklinski has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kuklinski moves nicely into side control.
Mir is looking for a sweep.

Kuklinski advances nicely into full mount.

Mir defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kuklinski.
Kuklinski looking to control but Mir is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kuklinski wants to take Mir's back here but Mir is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Kuklinski prevents Mir from getting the reversal.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kuklinski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mir is looking to escape.

and Mir counters with a straight right hand.
Mir misses with an uppercut.
Kuklinski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mir throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Kuklinski counters with a shoot takedown. Mir fights it but they end up in guard.

Kuklinski wants to control from the top but Mir keeps moving.
Mir has Kuklinski pulled in close to control his posture.
Kuklinski passes Mir's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mir tries to roll over but Kuklinski keeps him under control.
Mir is working hard here to advance position.
Mir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuklinski on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kuklinski seems to be looking for submissions.
Mir is looking to control Kuklinski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mir avoid being mounted?
Kuklinski prevents Mir from improving his position.
Kuklinski is keen to just control but Mir is a slippery customer.

Mir kicks Kuklinski off and gets back to his feet.

Mir connects with an inside leg kick.
Kuklinski is breathing heavily.

and Kuklinski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mir!
Mir wants to control but Kuklinski is having none of it.
Mir might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mir can't escape the position.

Kuklinski looking to control but Mir is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kuklinski seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Mir is holding on tight.
Kuklinski forces the positional change into back control.

Kuklinski is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Mir defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Mir just trying to survive but Kuklinski is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kuklinski doesn't have the hooks in and Mir manages to turn into his guard.
Kuklinski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Chucky Kuklinski will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Mir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Mir counters with a crisp one two that drops Kuklinski! Mir thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kuklinski to his feet! Kuklinski is in big trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mir misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mir throws a leg kick but Kuklinski checks it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mir.
Kuklinski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mir looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mir lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mir fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mir looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mir cracks Kuklinski with a good jab.
Kuklinski avoids the head kick by Mir.
Mir with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kuklinski on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Mir misses with a low kick.
Mir looks to land a combination but Kuklinski avoids it well.

Mir shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
