Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duke LaCrosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen We Want The Funk by George Clinton & the P-Funk Allstars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke LaCrosse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Freddy James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaCrosse closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. LaCrosse pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
LaCrosse misses with a body shot.
James rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and LaCrosse counters with a head kick. That will keep James thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
LaCrosse gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
James cracks LaCrosse with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. James has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning LaCrosse to stand back up!
LaCrosse is rocked!
It looks like Duke LaCrosse has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James lunges in with a left hook that violently twists LaCrosse head around and knocks him out cold! James hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Freddy James!
