Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parts comes into the arena with call to prayer blaring out of the sound system. Vaughn has chosen Wild Thing as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parts slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Parts connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vaughn. Vaughn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vaughn throws a looping overhand right but Parts ducks down to avoid it.
Parts lands a nice looking body shot.
Parts cracks Vaughn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Peter Parts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaughn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parts feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vaughns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Parts bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Parts lands with an uppercut that bounces Vaughn off the cage and back into rage.
Parts throws a right hand that Vaughn ducks under and follows up with a left that Vaughn also avoids with ease.
