Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yedo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Solitaire Unraveling. Kim has chosen "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube as his entrance music. Perry Cox had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yedo Kim!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox fails to land with a series of punches.
Cox misses with a hook. Kim ducked under it nicely.
Cox feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kim's calf.
Yedo Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kim connects with an inside leg kick.
Kim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kim tries to land a leg kick but Cox saw it coming and moves away.
Kim misses with a kick to the body
and Cox counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cox looks to land a combination but Kim avoids it well.
Cox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kim.
Kim moves away from the strike by Cox.
Cox sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cox wants to slow Kim down by chopping away at his legs.

Kim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cox throws out a loose jab but Kim uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cox lands a jab to the nose.
Kim avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kim throws a leg kick but Cox checks it.
No joy there for Cox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cox staying out of range there.
Cox tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it.
Cox blocks a jab.
Kim blocks a head kick by Cox.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice body kick from Kim.
Cox is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cox walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kim misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A solid body kick from Kim.
Kim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cox. That did some damage!
Kim misses the shot to the body.
Kim moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nice shot lands for Kim.
Kim fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cox.

A shot to the liver by Kim. Beautiful body shot.
Kim with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Kim is looking to slow Cox down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kim cracks Cox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kim lands a nice hook to Cox's body. Cox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kim feints and then cracks Cox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cox down.
Kim throws a body kick that misses.
Kim misses with a low kick.
Kim scores with a nice body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kim.
Cox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A good leg kick by Kim.
Cox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cox tries to move into range but Kim moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kim dips to his left and cracks Cox with an uppercut!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kim.
Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cox moves away.
A head kick from Kim lands but Cox takes it in his stride.


Cox is rocked!
Kim cracks Cox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Oh Cox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Cox gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kim gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cox is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yedo Kim!
