Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Van Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Van Henderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Van Henderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards checks a low kick from Henderson.

Richards tries to keep at a distance but Henderson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Henderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Henderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Richards.

Henderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Richards keeping moving, preventing Henderson from controlling successfully.
Henderson wants to stand and escape but instead Richards has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Henderson pushes Richards off and scrambles back to his feet.
Henderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Henderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Richards tries to sprawl out of it but Henderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Richards manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Henderson digs a good body shot into Richards's ribs.
Henderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Richards will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Henderson lands with a nice combination. Richards backs away looking to recover.
