The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirezovic lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Guy Mezger has been cut.
Mezger misses with the combination.
No joy there for Mezger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mezger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramirezovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Mezger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mezger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mezger moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Jamalski Ramirezovic has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mezger.

Ramirezovic throws a sloppy head kick and Mezger moves out of range easily.
Mezger keeps the fight on the outside.
Mezger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ramirezovic but Ramirezovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
