The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aalto throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carver was covering up waiting for the punch and Aalto finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Carver wants to sweep here but Aalto controlling him for the moment.
Aalto would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Carver uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aalto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Carver has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Carver and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Carver is trying hard to land a takedown here. Aalto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Carver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aalto can't fight it off and eventually Carver manages to take the fight to the floor. Aalto looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Raymond Carver hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Aalto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aalto somewhat.

Well Carver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
