Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lil Scrapy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scrapy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scrapy Do. Lil Scrapy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Scrapy up against the cage.

Scrapy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Scrapy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lil Scrapy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Scrapy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Scrapy's guard.

Scrapy tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it.

Scrapy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scrapy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Scrapy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.
Lil Scrapy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
