The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris throws a hook to the side of Hooke's head but Hooke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hooke moves out of range of the strikes.
Hooke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away.
Harris lands a nice shot that snaps Hooke's head back.
The fighters circling - Harris throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Hooke to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Alonzo Harris has been cut.
Good work by Hooke as he checks the leg kick.
Harris missing with a left hand there. Hooke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Harris takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Tj Hooke has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris tried to score with a low kick but Hooke checks it.
Hooke cracks Harris with a good jab.
Hooke throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Harris on the side of the head.

Harris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hooke takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Hooke counters with a crisp one two that drops Harris! Hooke thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Harris to his feet! Harris is in big trouble!

Harris is rocked!

A slow jab from Hooke misses its intended target.
Hooke defending well as Harris loads up on a big left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hooke. Harris does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alonzo Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harris, as that shot connected.

Harris cracks Hooke with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hooke looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Harris finish him?

Harris throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hooke counters with a straight right hand.
Hooke seems to have recovered his senses.
Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hooke moves away.

Alonzo Harris's cut is getting worse.
Harris turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hooke off his feet! Hooke tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
