The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins tries a head kick but it misses.
Martins misses with a double jab
and Montenegro counters with a stiff right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Montenegro, as that shot connected.
Joao Martins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Joao Martins has been cut.
Montenegro scores with a jab to the jaw.
Montenegro looks to land a right hand but Martins moved out of range.
Montenegro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Montenegro drops Martins onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Martins is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Montenegro lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Martins to his knees! Montenegro keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
