Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King has chosen Closing Time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Murray there as he acknowledges the shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for King.
King scores with the left hand. Murray knows he should have avoided that one.

King clinches up with Murray and pushes him back against the cage.

Murray shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Murray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

King cracks Murray with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

King throws a hook but Murray blocks it.
King is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Murray had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nikolai King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Murray throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Murray. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Murray on that attempt.
King stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Murray feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Murray sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but King is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

King feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Murrays jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Oh Murray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nikolai King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
