Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Slick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vanilla Ice Cold!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice Cold misses with a few strikes there.
Slick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ice Cold counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ice Cold tries a head kick but it misses.
Ice Cold uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Slick has time to react.

Ice Cold shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Slick looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Slick is looking for a sweep. Ice Cold is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ice Cold looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Ice Cold stalling away here and it's allowed Slick to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slick looking to control.
Ice Cold advances position into side control!

Ice Cold is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slick is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ice Cold tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ice Cold has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ice Cold wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slick, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Slick is looking to regain half guard here but Ice Cold keeps moving and retains side control.
Slick manages to get back to half guard.
Slick trying to control here.
Slick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slick tries to get out of the position.
Slick is controlling Ice Cold's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Slick is trying to maintain the position but Ice Cold is very close to passing his half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slick tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rick Slick just wasn't active enough.
Slick takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Slick throws a combination that misses
and Ice Cold counters with a nice body shot.
Ice Cold misses with a low kick.
Ice Cold plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ice Cold scores with the left hand. Slick knows he should have avoided that one.
Ice Cold misses with a head kick.
Ice Cold misses with an attempted mid kick.

Slick looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ice Cold wants to control the position but Slick says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ice Cold is looking to control Slick's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ice Cold avoid being mounted?
Ice Cold is trying to get back to full guard.
Ice Cold is refusing to be controlled, as Slick sits in half guard.

Ice Cold looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Slick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ice Cold keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vanilla Ice Cold dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Ice Cold connects with a body shot.
Ice Cold feints a jab promting Slick to slip. Ice Cold then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Slick slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ice Cold lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Slick shoots for a takedown but Ice Cold saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Slick walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


Slick is rocked!
Ice Cold lands a body shot.
Oh Slick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ice Cold drops Slick with a beautiful combination! Slick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ice Cold is looking for the KO!
Ice Cold circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Slick to the canvas! Slick doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ice Cold keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vanilla Ice Cold!
