Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garrik Harlamov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sudo has chosen Kaneda as his entrance music. Takashi Sudo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harlamov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sudo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Garrik Harlamov will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Takashi Sudo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Harlamov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sudo did well to prevent Harlamov getting side control.

Harlamov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sudo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harlamov, into his guard.

Sudo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Harlamov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sudo manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harlamov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
