The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Alberto holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Alberto wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Alberto persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage.
Alberto throwing strikes but missing.
Alberto looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Alberto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Alberto seems keen to control Jones's posture.
Jones prevents Alberto from getting back to his feet.
Alberto is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alberto pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Alberto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.
Jones controls Alberto momentarily but Alberto frees himself.
Alberto wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Alberto rolls with it to try and escape but Jones cranks on the arm and Alberto is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
