The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Father with a poor takedown
and Brown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Father misses with a hook
and Brown counters with a three punch combo that has Father backing up. Father nods at Brown to acknowledge the strikes.
Father tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily
and Brown counters with a two punch combo.
Father with a lazy takedown attempt
and Brown counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rembrandt Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephoune Father.

Father doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brown counters with a left to the body.

and Brown makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Father shoots and misses
and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown scores with a jab to the head.
Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Father gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stephoune Father seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Father moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown is pawing at Father, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Father's nose. Father is badly hurt! Brown pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Father tries desperately to hold on but Brown is relentless in his assault! As Father receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Brown away and this one is in the books!
