Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rual Ferdinand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shefki Kuqi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferdinand comes to the cage accompanied by Fluorecent Adolecent. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdinand moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kuqi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ferdinand.
Ferdinand uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ferdinand throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ferdinand feints and then cracks Kuqi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kuqi down.
Ferdinand punishes Kuqi's body with a nice straight punch.
Ferdinand fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ferdinand thuds his shin into the meat of Kuqi's side.
Kuqi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferdinand sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuqi somewhat.
Ferdinand lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
An inside leg kick lands from Ferdinand.
Ferdinand fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kuqi.
Ferdinand uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kuqi has time to react.
Ferdinand buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kuqi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ferdinand quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
