The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry throws an off balance right hand
and Constrictor counters with a solid body kick.
Barry misses with a lunging right hand
and Constrictor counters with a head kick.
Barry throws a right hand that misses
and Constrictor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Barry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Constrictor misses with an uppercut
and Barry counters with a series of strikes. Constrictor will be more careful next time no doubt.
Barry misses with an uppercut
and Constrictor counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barry works the jab nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Barry.
Constrictor throws a one two combo.
Barry misses with a combination
and Constrictor counters with a three punch combo that has Barry backing up. Barry nods at Constrictor to acknowledge the strikes.
Constrictor misses with a looping left.
Barry misses with a hook
and Constrictor counters with a nice low kick that buckles Barry's knee momentarily.
Barry misses with a body shot.
Barry misses with a hook
and Constrictor counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Barry is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Constrictor misses with a shot to the body
and Barry counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barry misses with a left hand
and Constrictor counters with a crisp one two that drops Barry! Constrictor thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Barry to his feet! Barry is in big trouble!
Barry is rocked!
Constrictor and Barry are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Constrictor throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Barry into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Constrictor knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Boa Constrictor!
