The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordova scores with a leg kick.
Cordova goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cordova jabs Lightyear right on the nose. Lightyear blinks but takes it well.
Lightyear is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Cordova lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lightyear. Lightyear tries to recover but Cordova is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lightyear lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
