The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle looks to land a combination but Stenmark avoids it well.
Ove Stenmark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stenmark throws a predictable looking body shot
and Castle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stenmark. Castle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Castle looks to land a body kick but Stenmark moved away.
Castle looks to score with a jab to the body but Stenmark is just out of range.
Stenmark throws a poor cross that misses
and Castle counters with a nice uppercut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Castle!
Stenmark swings away with a body shot that misses
and Castle counters with a straight right hand.
Castle lands with an overhand left.
Stenmark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stenmark dodges the punch combination from Castle.
Stenmark misses with a body punch
and Castle counters with a three punch combo that has Stenmark backing up. Stenmark nods at Castle to acknowledge the strikes.
Stenmark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castle moves away.
Stenmark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castle manages to avoid it.
Stenmark takes a swing at Castle's ribcage but misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Castle.
Stenmark throws a sloppy body shot
and Castle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stenmark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Castle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Stenmark is looking to wear down Castle with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Castle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stenmark swings away with a body shot that misses
and Castle counters with an inside leg kick.
Castle lands a jab to the head.
Castle scores with a jab. Stenmark acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Castle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stenmark's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Stenmark takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stenmark is breathing heavily.
Oooooh!!! Castle has knocked Stenmark down with a huge combo! Castle steps away and waves a wobbly Stenmark back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Stenmark is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Castle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh Stenmark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Castle closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Stenmark! Castle dives in looking to finish! Stenmark is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Castle!
