Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flex Luthor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luthor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Battleflag. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Royce Gracie enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Luthor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.

and Luthor counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Luthor to acknowledge the strikes.

Flex Luthor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Gracie.

Gracie has his foot on Luthor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Luthor works his way back into a safe position though.

Luthor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Luthor is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Luthor has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
