Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Soco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara comes to the cage accompanied by Armin van Buuren - Sail. Joe Soco will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Hara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Soco!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hara gets caught flat footed, as Soco shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hara is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Hara blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Soco gets underhooks to prevent Hara's takedown attempt.
Soco is looking to break free of the clinch but Hara has double underhooks.
Soco tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hara avoids it.
Soco prevents a takedown attempt there.

Soco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Soco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Soco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Soco thows a huge punch but Hara dodges it nicely.
Hara trying to hold on to Soco's head to control him but Soco postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hara keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Soco works his way into full mount!
Soco manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hara to take his back!
Soco is trying to stick to Hara's back but Hara is turning into Soco. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Soco's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hara.
Hara wants to control from the top but Soco keeps moving.

Soco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hara prevents Soco from getting back to his feet.
Hara wants to control from the top but Soco keeps moving.
Hara stands and throws Soco's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Soco tries to control but Hara manages to take his back.
Soco wants to escape the position.
Soco looks gassed!
Hara tries to keep control of the position but Soco is staying busy.

Hara is working for a rear naked choke. Soco is not defending it well and Hara has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Soco refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Soco's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Josh Hara!
