PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matic Ocvirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silencer Ducanny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ducanny has chosen ACDC Born To Be Wild as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ducanny feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ducanny has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ocvirk is proving hard to escape from.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ducanny feints and as Ocvirk raises his hands in defense, Ducanny changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ducanny can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ducanny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ocvirk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ocvirk swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ducanny is now in Ocvirk's guard. A big mistake from Ocvirk there, giving up the dominant position!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ducanny connects with a nice short shot to Ocvirk's temple.

Well Ducanny has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
