Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emeka Shakur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rojas has chosen Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey as his entrance music. Emeka Shakur has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emeka Shakur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Rojas!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakur throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shakur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rojas moves away.
Shakur lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Ricardo Rojas has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shakur. Rojas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rojas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rojas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shakur sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That kick from Rojas tenderised Shakur's leg. Shakur is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shakur swings widly with a right hand
and Rojas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Emeka Shakur has been cut.
Shakur fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Shakur slips under a jab from Rojas.
Shakur feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rojass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rojas lands with a slapping head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shakur on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rojas. Rojas obviously looking to wear him down.
Rojas throws a hook but Shakur avoids it easily.
Shakur will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Shakur misses with a straight right.
Shakur blocks a head kick by Rojas.
Shakur finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nice body punch from Shakur.
Rojas throws a body punch but Shakur moves out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Shakur blocks the leg kick.
Emeka Shakur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shakur blocks a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rojas throws a sloppy body shot
and Shakur counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shakur is looking to wear down Rojas with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Rojas looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shakur cracks Rojas with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rojas looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shakur finish him?
Rojas is rocked!
Shakur thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rojas is still on wobbly legs! Can Shakur finish him?
Rojas takes a swing at Shakur's ribcage but misses.
Rojas glances at the clock... BAM! Shakur nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Rojas crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Rojas is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Emeka Shakur!
