Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Contini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Contini comes to the cage accompanied by .. The crowd seem to be enjoying Emerson's choice of entrance music: Welcome to the TerrorDome. Luciano Contini had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contini lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Contini takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Contini is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Emerson.
Emerson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Contini uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Emerson.
A jab lands there for Contini.
Contini takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Luciano Contini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emerson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Contini cracks Emerson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Emerson closes the distance and pushes Contini back into the cage.

Emerson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Contini backwards.

Emerson dips a shoulder and cracks Contini with a mighty uppercut! Contini falls back against the cage and Emerson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Contini is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Emerson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
