Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Lidae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidae is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crack A Bottle. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic swings for the body but Lidae moves out of range.
Mirko Filipovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filipovic throws a right and a left that Lidae avoids nicely.

Lidae rushes Filipovic and presses him up against the ropes.
A frustrated look appears on Filipovic's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Filipovic slows down the pace here.
Filipovic stalling in the clinch but Lidae improves position.

Filipovic pulls guard successfully.
Lidae trying to control but Filipovic is working from the bottom.
Filipovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lidae on the ground.

Lidae is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lidae drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lidae jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lidae pushing down on Filipovic's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The strikes coming from Lidae are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lidae trying to control the position but Filipovic is working away.

Filipovic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Lidae has an Americana. Filipovic didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lidae is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lidae hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
