Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenzie McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Centrino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenzie McKenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Centrino!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McKenzie gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Centrino has dropped down and is working for a takedown. McKenzie is trying to keep an underhook but Centrino manages to get the takedown into half guard.
McKenzie is pressing down on Centrino's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McKenzie holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Centrino got a little sloppy there for a moment and McKenzie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Centrino has managed to get both his arms back between McKenzie's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



McKenzie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Centrino to score an easy takedown into full guard.

McKenzie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

McKenzie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McKenzie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McKenzie tries to clinch there but Centrino circles away.

McKenzie gets tackled into the cage by Centrino. Centrino maintains the clinch.
Centrino prevents a takedown attempt there.
McKenzie managing to block the knees to the body from Centrino.

McKenzie is fighting off a takedown attempt but Centrino is just too persistent for him and manages to trip McKenzie to the mat. McKenzie regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Tommy Centrino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Centrino throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McKenzie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Centrino is in McKenzie's guard.

Centrino has gone for a leg lock! McKenzie slips out almost immediately though and dives into Centrino's guard.
McKenzie is looking to work some ground and pound but Centrino has wrist control.
McKenzie stops Centrino from standing up.

I would just about give that final round to Tommy Centrino.
Well Centrino has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
