Gump has chosen Louie Armstrong - What a Wonderful World as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gregory Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Silva is predictable there
and Gump counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Gump showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gump moves away.
Gump blocks the body kick.
Gump throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Gump counters with a solid body kick.
Silva throws a lazy head kick
and Gump counters with a two punch combo.
Gump fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gregory Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Gump counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gump trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gump uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva.
Gump postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silva looks a forlorn figure.

Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Gump cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gump landing strikes from the mount and Silva is in trouble!
Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gump cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Silva flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Gump lands a big elbow - Silva is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Silva is forced to tap out!
