Chanta comes into the arena with Papa Americano - We No Speak Americano blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Chanta misses
enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Meas Chanta has been cut.
Chanta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Chanta throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gracie cracks Chanta with a good jab.
Gracie misses with an uppercut
and Chanta counters with a body kick.
Chanta defending well as Gracie loads up on a big left hand.
Chanta connects with a high kick.
Chanta tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie throws an off balance right hand
and Chanta counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Chanta throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A telegraphed right hand from Gracie misses the target.

Chanta stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Meas Chanta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chanta misses with a looping left.
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chanta.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gracie darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chanta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chanta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chanta throws a leg kick that is checked
and Chanta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chanta throws a sloppy head kick
and Gracie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gracie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Chanta throws a poor cross that misses
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chanta.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chanta thows a leg kick but Gracie checks it
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chanta thuds his shin into the meat of Gracie's side.
Chanta walks into a jab.
Gracie lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Gracie counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Gracie counters with a lovely straight right hand!

letting Gracie counter with a right hand.

Gracie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chanta.
Nice defenses there by Chanta.
Chanta tries to land a body kick
and Gracie makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Chanta throws a sloppy head kick
and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand.

Chanta on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Chanta is rocked!
Gracie cracks a nice hook into Chanta's ribs.
Oh Chanta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Chanta's head, knocking him out cold! Gracie is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
