These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira throws a right and a left that Takimoto avoids nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ferreira is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Takimoto reverses the position - he's now on top in Ferreira's guard.

Ferreira is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
