Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Takesian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperIII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takesian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is United States Marine Corps Hymn. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takesian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by TupperIII.
TupperIII shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Takesian counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Eli Takesian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takesian throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sloppy strikes from Takesian. Those never looked like landing.
Takesian moves in looking to clinch but TupperIII pushes him off.
Takesian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
TupperIII moves out of range as Takesian strikes.
TupperIII misses with a takedown
and Takesian counters with a big head kick but TupperIII shrugs it off.

TupperIII has his takedown stuffed
and Takesian counters with a series of strikes. TupperIII will be more careful next time no doubt.
Eli Takesian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby TupperIII.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takesian tries to land a front kick but TupperIII steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Takesian gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Takesian lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
TupperIII is trying desperately to land a takedown but Takesian is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for TupperIII.
Takesian lands a right hand that snaps the head of TupperIII backwards.
Takesian lands an elbow that stopped TupperIII in his tracks for a moment.

Takesian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

TupperIII takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Takesian is looking to clinch but TupperIII is avoiding it.
Takesian fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches TupperIII on the side of the head.
Takesian lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Bobby TupperIII has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
TupperIII doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Takesian counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for TupperIII to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Takesian!
