Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rolls Romo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romo comes to the cage accompanied by Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Masaru moves out of range as Romo strikes.
Romo blocks a head kick by Masaru.
Masaru throws a quick inside leg kick.
A lazy body kick from Romo
and Masaru counters with a low kick, right behind Romo 's knee.
Romo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Masaru counters with a slapping leg kick.
Romo checks a low kick from Masaru.
Masaru lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Masaru throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Romo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Donk. Romo catches Masaru right on the button with a cross.
Masaru misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Romo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Romo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Romo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
