Ufalopolaus comes to the cage accompanied by Shabnami Soraya - Az Kudumi Safar. Kelly has chosen R Kelly - Real talk as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ahkmed Ufalopolaus!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kelly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ufalopolaus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ufalopolaus shoots in looking for a takedown. Kelly tries to sprawl out of it but Ufalopolaus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kelly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kelly rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ufalopolaus counters with a nice body shot.
Ufalopolaus misses with a hook.
Kelly lunges at Ufalopolaus with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ufalopolaus's hand.
Kelly lands a nice hook to Ufalopolaus's body. Ufalopolaus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ufalopolaus tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.
Ufalopolaus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kelly counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kelly looks to land a right hand but Ufalopolaus moved out of range.

and Ufalopolaus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ufalopolaus working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kelly's head.
Ufalopolaus won't allow Kelly to sweep him here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ufalopolaus is desperately trying to improve his position but Kelly has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Kelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Ufalopolaus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ufalopolaus.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

and Ufalopolaus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kelly can't keep his opponent in guard - Ufalopolaus advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Ufalopolaus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kelly sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kelly manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kelly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ufalopolaus manages to get himself to full guard.

Kelly has Ufalopolaus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kelly pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ufalopolaus tumbling to the mat - Kelly dives into Ufalopolaus's guard.
