The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Paukuttaja.
Saarinen misses with a takedown
and Paukuttaja counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Paukuttaja keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fighters circling - Paukuttaja throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Saarinen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paukuttaja's guard.
Saarinen looking to sit in guard and control but Paukuttaja gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Saarinen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Paukuttaja!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paukuttaja wants to get back to his feet.
Paukuttaja is looking to improve his position but Saarinen isn't that keen on the idea.

Pate Paukuttaja's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pate Paukuttaja's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
