The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lonkar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mohorovic is looking to clinch but Lonkar is avoiding it.
Lonkar shoots for a double leg takedown but Mohorovic sprawls well. He's pushed Lonkar 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mohorovic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lonkar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mohorovic gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Elio Mohorovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Lonkar .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mohorovic manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Lonkar looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Lonkar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mohorovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lonkar slips a nice elbow through Mohorovic's hands, connecting with Mohorovic's forehead.

Mohorovic kicks Lonkar off and gets back to his feet.

Lonkar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mohorovic to the mat! Mohorovic manages to get full guard.
Lonkar looks gassed!

Mohorovic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lonkar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lonkar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mohorovic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lonkar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mohorovic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lonkar 's back instead.

Mohorovic looking to break Lonkar 's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lonkar remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mohorovic will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mohorovic doesn't have the hooks in and Lonkar manages to turn into his guard.
Lonkar stands and throws Mohorovic's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mohorovic tries to buck Lonkar off but Lonkar is having none of it.
Mohorovic sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mohorovic is pressing down on Lonkar 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Mohorovic is looking for a triangle but Lonkar pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lonkar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mohorovic has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lonkar is looking to defend but Mohorovic has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lonkar ! Mohorovic pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lonkar taps out and this one is all over!
