Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregoire Lefevre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lefevre comes into the arena with Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: . Gracie has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Gregoire Lefevre has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gracie swings widly with a right hand
and Lefevre counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lefevre throws a lazy uppercut

and Gracie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lefevre!
Gracie punching from mount but Lefevre doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Gracie lands a nice shot to the head.
Gracie thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lefevre avoids a series of strikes thrown by Gracie.

Lefevre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Lefevre tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gracie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Lefevre wants to try and get back to his feet.

Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie throwing strikes here but Lefevre is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lefevre can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lefevre wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.

Lefevre wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gracie.

Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lefevre to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lefevre shrugs it off.
Gracie throws a sloppy strike and Lefevre uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Lefevre has ended up in Gracie's guard.

Gracie is working an open guard so Lefevre takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gregoire Lefevre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lefevre misses with a straight right.
Lefevre darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gracie slips under a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Gracie as he connects with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcelo Gracie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Gracie throws a series of strikes that have Lefevre backpedaling.
Lefevre throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lefevre throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Lefevre avoids it well.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lefevre.

Lefevre clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lefevre tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Lefevre was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lefevre misses with a left hand
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lefevre to score with a decent uppercut.
Lefevre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lefevre lands a nice looking body shot.
Lefevre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lefevre.
Gregoire Lefevre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lefevre.
Lefevre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lefevre tries to clinch up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lefevre falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gregoire Lefevre showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
