Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Murphy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Mack lands a big head kick that sends Murphy tumbling to the mat! Mack takes a step backwards and waves Murphy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mack scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mack comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Murphy gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Murphy tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Mack is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Murphy buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Murphy!! Murphy is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Mack throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
