The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Brown is predictable there

and Blight counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that.
Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.
Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Blight has wrist control.
Brown wants to stand but Blight has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Leroy Brown just wasn't active enough.
Blight moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Blight counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.

Brown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blight.
Blight clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Blight swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Brown.

and Blight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Brown tries to kick Blight off but Blight keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blight accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blight wants to pass the guard but Brown is keeping the position.

and Blight counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Blight makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Blights jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Blight counters with a good low kick that Brown was not able to check.
The fighters circle, before Brown throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Blight's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Brown lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
