The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris shoots in looking for a takedown. Snort tries to sprawl out of it but Norris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snort manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Buck Snort hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Snort is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Norris is just riding it out for now. Snort eventually gives up the hold.

Norris stalks Snort and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Snort's face. Snort staggers backwards, shaken.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Snort takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Buck Snort has been cut.
Norris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snort sprawls well. Snort wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Norris gets slowly back to his feet.

Norris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snort.

Norris shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Snort napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Norris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snort has escaped the position, nice work there.

Norris decides to stand up, so the ref orders Snort to his feet.

Norris jumps guard and drags Snort to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Norris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
