Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keast Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravado misses with a right hand
and Kannegaard counters with a one-two to the body.
Bravado on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kannegaard throws a series of punches but Bravado moves out of range.
Bravado feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kannegaards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kannegaard uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kannegaard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bravado slips under a jab.
Kannegaard keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Keast Kannegaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kannegaard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bravado.

and Bravado counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bravado wants to work for an arm triangle but Kannegaard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bravado thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kannegaard's head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bravado is working for a submission of some sort.
Kannegaard is looking for a sweep. Bravado is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bravado is trying to control. Kannegaard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kannegaard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bravado is working away from the top position though.
Bravado prevents Kannegaard from improving his position.
Kannegaard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kannegaard tries to get out of the position.
Bravado is thwarting Kannegaard's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kannegaard is refusing to be controlled, as Bravado sits in half guard.
Kannegaard is in trouble now - Bravado has advanced to mount!

Bravado working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Bravado moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kannegaard has worked his arm free - good work by Kannegaard!

Kannegaard tries to bench press Bravado off him but Bravado keeps the position.
A control attempt from Kannegaard but he's now mounted!
Kannegaard is trying to escape the mount.

Bravado goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kannegaard is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bravado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kannegaard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keast Kannegaard will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bravado throws a hook but Kannegaard blocks it.
Bravado takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bravado blocks a jab.
Kannegaard throws a series of punches but Bravado avoids them all with ease.

Kannegaard misses with a two punch combination.

Kannegaard gets caught napping as Bravado dives in and scores a takedown. Kannegaard manages to retain guard.
Kannegaard is controlling Bravado's posture.
Bravado working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bravado thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravado works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bravado uses his free foot to push down on Kannegaard's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kannegaard.
Bravado pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bravado is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kannegaard is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kannegaard flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bravado anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kannegaard and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bravado slips an arm under Kannegaard chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bravado has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bravado is squeezing on Kannegaard like an anaconda would it's prey. Kannegaard fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
