Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grande Mucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Grande Mucho!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mucho has his takedown stuffed
and Silva counters with a left and a right that stings Mucho.
Mucho with a lazy takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Mucho will be more careful next time no doubt.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mucho doesn't seem phased though.

Mucho has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mucho's guard now.

Mucho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Grande Mucho will probably get the nod.

Mucho dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Mucho's head and hops out.

Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mucho needs to keep his hands up - Silva had a free shot at his head there.

and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jake Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mucho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.

Silva gets caught napping as Mucho dives in and scores a takedown. Silva manages to retain guard.

Mucho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mucho drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Mucho off! Mucho jumps back into Silva's guard.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mucho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mucho forces his way into half guard.
Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mucho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Mucho.
Mucho is just content to waste time from the top position. Silva takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
