The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammerlik swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hammerlik plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Hessu Hopo has been cut.
Hammerlik takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hammerlik lands a slapping body shot.
Hopo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hammerlik quickly recovers to half guard.
Hopo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hammerlik wants to get back to his feet.

Hopo stalks Hammerlik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hammerlik's face. Hammerlik staggers backwards, shaken.

Hopo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Hessu Hopo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hopo throws a looping overhand right but Hammerlik ducks down to avoid it.

That has opened up Hessu Hopo's cut even more.

Hopo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hammerlik circles away.

Hopo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hammerlik finds it's way round the side to connect with Hopo's head.

Hessu Hopo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hessu Hopo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
