The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompkins moves in looking to clinch but Lason pushes him off.
Thompkins misses with a hook
and Lason counters with a good low kick that Thompkins was not able to check.
Lason cracks Thompkins with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lason lands a high kick!
Thompkins throws a head kick that misses.
Thompkins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lason paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thompkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Lason.
Thompkins closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lason counters with a stiff right hand.

and Lason counters with a head kick that drops Thompkins to the mat! Thompkins scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Thompkins is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lason Throws a clean left jab. Lason Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Thompkins's chin! Thompkins crumbles to the ground and Lason follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Lason!
