Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sub Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Marx counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Marx slips a jab and a cross from Ko.
Ko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Marx counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ko misses with a takedown
and Marx counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Ko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ko goes for a takedown attempt but Marx pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Marx swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Marx darts in and clinches Ko up against the cage.

Marx lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ko.

Ko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marx gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Marx makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Marx lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Marx throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kos head.
Ko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Marx pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Marx dips a shoulder and cracks Ko with a mighty uppercut! Ko falls back against the cage and Marx unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ko is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Marx screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
