The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevesss is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Banner's half guard.

Stevesss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Banner's guard.

Stevesss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Stevesss looks up at the clock and then as Banner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stevesss smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Stevesss working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Banner turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Stevesss off and cradles Banner's limp body as Stevesss celebrates with his corner.
