The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krueger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Krueger is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tampong will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Krueger throws an elbow but Tampong slips to the side and avoids it well.
Krueger scores with punches from side control.
You can see the frustration on Tampong's face as Krueger controls the position.
Krueger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Krueger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Krueger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
