Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace comes to the cage accompanied by Heroes to us. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ace shoots in looking for a takedown but Gomi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ace's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gomi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ace eats them both and turns towards Gomi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gomi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ace circles away quickly and effectively.
Gomi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
