Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Willy Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Farmery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farmery is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica-Enter the sandman. Philip Farmery has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Pete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Philip Farmery!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmery with a poor takedown
and Pete counters with a left and a right that stings Farmery.
Pete digs a good body shot into Farmery's ribs.
Farmery fails with the takedown
and Pete connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pete is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Farmery.
Farmery is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Farmery shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pete counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Willy Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Farmery.
Pete sizes up Farmery with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Farmery closes the distance and pushes Pete back into the cage.
Pete lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Pete is stalling here.
Pete unloads a knee to the mid-section. Farmery lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Pete softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A knee to the head by Pete.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pete takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Farmery is trying to drag Pete to the mat but Pete just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pete lands a nice uppercut.
Pete scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Pete lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Farmery tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pete just stands there and leans against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pete creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A right hand to the body from Pete.
Pete lands a good knee to the midsection. Farmery won't want to take too many of those.
Pete working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Pete with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Pete lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pete creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Pete pushes Farmery back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Farmery is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pete manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Pete pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Farmery misses with a lunging right hand
and Pete counters with a straight right hand.
Farmery with a poor takedown
and Pete counters with a right hand to the body.
Farmery looks gassed!
Pete throws a series of strikes that have Farmery backpedaling.
Pete scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


Farmery is rocked!
Farmery doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pete counters with a left to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pete moves into range and connects with a jab.
Farmery gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pete connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pete pivots, looking for a leg kick but Farmery is out of range and Pete settles back down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pete lands a slapping body shot.
Pete paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Willy Pete dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Pete lands a jab-cross combination.
Farmery is still on wobbly legs! Can Pete finish him?
Pete is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Farmery like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Farmery from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willy Pete!
